T007 - Earth Asian lithosphere structure and evolution

East Asia represents one of most tectonically active regions on Earth. As the end of the plate circuit, East Asian tectonics, lithosphere structure and mantle dynamics are important for understanding global plate tectonics and Earth evolution. Debated tectonic events include Paleozoic-Mesozoic craton destruction, intraplate orogeny and magmatism, sedimentary basins and complex continental blocks, as well as Cenozoic intra-continental deformation, extension, marginal sea opening, and topographic inversion. In view of the recent abundant research on the observation and modeling of lithospheric structure and dynamics, we hope to seek contributions from observational constraints, novel syntheses, and modeling of any aspect of East Asian continent and its rich Phanerozoic tectonic history. Related fields may include but are not limited to geology, geophysics, neotectonics, geochemistry, geochronology, seismology, stratigraphy, paleomagnetism, and geodynamics.
