Dear Geodynamics community,

this is a last minute reminder for submitting an abstract (Deadline today - Tue 25th of June) to the Geological Society of America annual meeting [session: T67] on "Volcanic Stratigraphy at Extensional Zones" organised by Ani Tikku (ExxonMobil) and myself.

We have an exciting line up of invited speakers for this session:

* Cynthia Ebinger (Tulane University) - Tectonic and magmatic controls on basin stratigraphy from rift initiation to rupture

* Xiaochuan Tian (Lamont): Lithospheric thickness of volcanic rifted margins: constraints from seaward dipping reflectors 

* Sverre Planke (Volcanic Basin Petroleum Research, Oslo): Understanding volcanic deposits in sedimentary basins
