[Geodynamics] PhD position in SUBITOP ETN at University of Oslo

Dear colleagues,

The Centre for Earth Evolution and Dynamics (CEED) at the University of Oslo is looking for an enthousiastic PhD student with numerical and/or analogue experience for a 3-year fellowship in the Marie Sklodowska-Curie European Training Network SUBITOP (www.subitop.eu). The fellowship at CEED is ESR9: "The role of subduction in the formation and evolution of continental slivers and microcontinents”. This project aims to identify how subduction-related processes affect continental margins, and how feedbacks between inherited structures and subduction may lead to microcontinent formation.

The project will be conducted at CEED at the University of Oslo, in close collaboration with Utrecht University and the Geological Survey of Norway (NGU). The start date is August/September 2016.
