[ASA] Data Central Cloud scheduled downtime: 16-19 October

we are still in the process of migrating our cloud platform. We have run into some database issues around existing shared files that has meant we need to follow a different migration path, which is taking longer, but will lead to a better outcome.

Unfortunately this means that the Data Central Cloud will now be offline until 13:00 AEDT / 12:30 ACDT / 12:00 AEST / 10:00 AWST on Thursday 22 October. We apologise for any inconvenience caused. Note that team data shares are still available through our ContainerSSH system – the main impact here is individual user data in the cloud platform itself.

As part of significant upgrades across the Data Central Science Platform, we have the following scheduled downtime:

When: 15:00 16 October to 13:00 19 October. All times are AEDT.

This downtime will affect the Cloud web portal and WebDAV services. ContainerSSH and JupyterHub services and their access to team data shares will not be affected.

We are migrating from the legacy ownCloud platform to a more modern and secure nextCloud system. This should see improved performance and enhanced functionality.
