[ASA] ADACS Merit Allocation Program - Deadline for 2027A EoIs is Friday 9 October, 2026

The deadline for Expressions of Interest for the 2026B semester of the ADACS Merit Allocation Program (MAP) is Friday 9 October, 2026; three weeks from this Friday.

Wondering what the ADACS MAP is?  It is an opportunity to accelerate or extend the capabilities of your research program, offering all members of the Australian astronomy community (including students and postdocs) access to the following:

  1.  Bespoke training in skills related to software development, &/or
  2.  Dedicated software advice, development or design effort from skilled software engineers.

We will also be continuing last semester's program of offering dedicated time for Data Central-related development. This could include things like feature requests for the Data Central platform or apps that rely on data held in Data Central. We are open to new innovative ideas to improve Data Central.

If interested, please lodge your interest as soon as possible.  Early submissions generally benefit from a more robust consultation phase.
