Dear colleagues,

We are pleased to invite the community to the conference entitled
*Stellar Ages as Cosmic Clocks: From the Milky Way to the Universe*. The
conference will take place in *Benasque, Spain, from February 8th to
February 12th, 2027*, at the Benasque Science Center.

*Abstract Submission
*We are pleased to announce that the submission of abstracts for oral
contributions is now open via the conference website
<https://url.au.m.mimecastprotect.com/s/sfneCjZ1N7iAMn81psWfAjhmsiI3?domain=benasque.org>. The deadline for abstract
submission as a pdf file is *October 1st 2026*. Notifications regarding
abstract selection will be sent by the end of October. Please note that
all oral presentations will be given in person. To submit the abstract,
it is necessary to use the username and password obtained during

from Barcelona on 7th and 13th February, lunches and coffee breaks, the
use of the Centro de Ciencias facilities, technical assistance, and
secretarial support.

*Scope and Topics*
The conference will focus on different fields of astrophysics, with
stellar age as the common theme. The main topics are:

  * Age-dating methods (isochrone fitting, asteroseismology, chemical
    clocks, etc.)
  * Ages of the oldest stars: metal-poor field stars, globular clusters,
    eclipsing binaries
  * Timing the Universe
  * Age as a driver of Milky Way evolution and galaxies evolution
  * Interpreting age distributions in the era of Big Surveys
  * The role of ages in exoplanet and stellar astrophysics
  * Preparing for the next generation of facilities: HRMOS, ANDES,
    PLATO, WST, HAYDN

Dedicated discussion sessions and review talks will take place each day,
fostering new ideas and progress in the determination of stellar ages.

A key aim of the meeting is to support early-career scientists, offering
significant opportunities for presenting work, sharing ideas, and
leading discussions, fostering a dynamic and forward-looking environment.
