The successful applicant will establish a new research program in radio astronomy that takes advantage of the opportunities offered by the SKAO; broadens the current activities in radio astronomy within the School of Physics; and complements the research directions currently pursued by members of the Sydney Institute for Astronomy (SIfA). The Australia Telescope Users Committee (ATUC) meets regularly to discuss issues that impact users of the ATNF. The next ATUC meeting will be held on 3 and 4 September 2026 at the CSIRO offices in Marsfield (Sydney). On 3 September an Open Session will be held that consists of updates and discussions on the various aspects of ATNF facilities.? All are welcome to register to attend the ATUC?Open Session.
