Dear Astronomical Society of Australia,
Two continuing academic positions are being offered at UQ, and we would love to get some astrophysics applicants! They are teaching-focused (but still have a research component), and in particular looking for someone to help with AI techniques in teaching. Since many astrophysicists have been early AI adopters, this may be of interest to some of you. If anyone has any questions, please get in touch.

"We are advertising for two continuing teaching focussed positions in the School of Mathematics and Physics at UQ. We are looking for excellent teachers in quantitative science (mathematics, statistics, physics) who can contribute to embedding a technical background of generative AI and machine learning into Science and Mathematics programs at UQ.

Timing: The job application closes on 26 August. Mock lectures and teaching seminars have been tentatively scheduled for Monday 21 Sept and Tuesday 22 Sept."
