[ASA] TDA Chapter Elections - Nominations Welcomed by 10 Jul

Dear ASA members,

The ASA Time Domain Astronomy Chapter is currently accepting nominations for its steering committee. We are looking to fill one slot designated for an HDR (a one-year term), one slot designated for an Early Career member (a two-year term), and multiple slots open to all members of our chapter (also two-year terms).

I will be moving into the role of immediate past chair; since I am not participating in the election, I can act as returning officer.  Therefore, if you are interested in running for membership of the steering committee, in any of these roles, please let me know via e-mail (b.montet at unsw.edu.au) by COB Friday, 10 July. If we have more nominees than slots available, we will hold an election.

A nomination need only be a 2-3 sentence statement of interest, with the subject line "TDA Steering Committee Nomination." Self-nominations are encouraged!
