[ASA] ASA 2026 IDEA Chapter Town Hall – Tuesday 7 July, 4:00–4:30 pm

Dear colleagues,
The ASA IDEA Chapter will hold a Town Hall at the ASA Annual Scientific Meeting next Tuesday.
The Town Hall will provide a brief update on IDEA Chapter activities, ongoing initiatives, and opportunities for members to contribute. Most importantly, it will be an opportunity for discussion and feedback from the community on how we can continue to foster inclusion, diversity, equity, and accessibility across Australian astronomy.

We encourage everyone interested in creating a more inclusive astronomy community to join the conversation.
Following the Town Hall, we would also like to remind attendees about the ASA Rainbow Dinner, organised by Daniel Zucker and Thavisha Dharmawardena, which will take place on same evening Tuesday 7 July at 7:00 pm. The dinner attendance is open to ASA members who identify as part of the LGBTQIA+ community or as Allies.
