Hi All,

Thank you to those of you who were able to attend the Astronomy town hall - Plan B discussion last Friday. For those of you who weren’t able to attend, the recording is available here<https://url.au.m.mimecastprotect.com/s/1UD1CJyBrGf15y2gZHVfoUyHvw6?domain=ausacademyofscience.sharepoint.com>.

And the meeting chat is available here<https://url.au.m.mimecastprotect.com/s/lKJNCK1DvKTBm9YZOCvh4U5KG3s?domain=ausacademyofscience.sharepoint.com>.

We have a google form available to submit further comments which are welcomed until 9am Monday 18th May: https://url.au.m.mimecastprotect.com/s/36DvCL7EwMfm4XglKiPikUyAEHt?domain=forms.gle

One thing that did not come across clearly in the meeting is the plan for next steps in this process. Currently these next steps look like:

1. The Large Telescope Access Working Group (LTAWG) has until end 12/5 to provide feedback on the working group’s summary document
2. Sarah will collect google form data until early Mon 18/5
3. AAL Board and the NCA will discuss this additional feedback at their next meetings (AAL Board 22 May and NCA 26 May).
4. We will then send a high-level summary to DISR.
5. After these we will send an email to the ASA exploder explaining how we have synthesised the feedback and the next steps from there, including the next opportunities for community discussion – e.g. the Townhall at the ASA ASM (Thursday 9th July).

Cheers,
Sarah and Alex
