[ASA] Extended deadline - Australian Academy of Science call for Matthew Flinders Medal and Lecture nominations

The Academy has extended the deadline on its call for nominations for the Matthew Flinders Medal and Lecture to June 1st. More information is provided below:

The Matthew Flinders Medal and Lecture recognises research of the highest standing in the physical sciences and is one of the most prestigious career awards of the Academy, recognising researchers of the highest standing over a career of whatever length.


Nominations close 1 June 2026. As a premier award, referees are not required. Candidates and nominators are not required to be Fellows of the Academy.
