Dear fellow ASA members,
The first History of Australian Astronomy Chapter (HAAC) event for 2026 is a free webinar celebrating 60 years of planetaria in Australia, in collaboration with the Australasian Planetarium Society (APS).
The speakers are Tanya Hill of Museums Victoria, Martin George of Ulverstone Planetarium and Martin Bush of the University of Melbourne. The webinar is open to members and non-members of the ASA.
Planetaria are important for astronomy as they are a great means of exciting and educating the public in the subject and maintaining support for research.
