OFFICIAL

Dear colleagues,

Registration is now open for CSIRO’s ATNF Radio School, to be held 1-5 June 2026 at our Paul Wild Observatory on Gomeroi Country, near Narribri, NSW. This observatory is home to the Australia Telescope Compact Array (ATCA).

The School is aimed at PhD students, postdoctoral researchers, and early-career astronomers. It will cover the fundamentals of radio interferometry through a mix of lectures and hands-on calibration and imaging tutorials using ATCA data. This year’s program will also include practical sessions making use of ATCA’s new BIGCAT correlator. No prior experience with radio interferometry is required.

In-person registration is capped and will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis. A registration fee will apply and will cover lunches, tea/coffee, and the conference dinner. Please do not book accommodation until your registration has been confirmed.

Further details and the registration link are available here: https://url.au.m.mimecastprotect.com/s/GNtxC1WLPxcBmO9rqhLfrIVKUi8?domain=atnf.csiro.au

The registration deadline is April 15th (or until capacity is reached).

Please circulate this announcement to interested colleagues. For questions, please contact Amanda Gray at amanda.gray at CSIRO.au<mailto:amanda.gray at CSIRO.au>.

Best wishes,
The ATNF Radio School SOC and LOC
