[ASA] ASA Stars and Planet Chapter elections

Dear ASA members,

We have recently constituted the Group on Stellar and Planet Astronomy, a new chapter of our Society. The main goal of the chapter is to foster collaboration in stellar and planetary astronomy, including solar system. This chapter has a joint agreement with the Geological Society of Australia. We have recently called for nominations for the 6 council people to lead this chapter - the main task of these people will be to coordinate the yearly joint conference “Stars in <city> and the Australian Exoplanet Workshop.

As we have received more than 6 nominations we will be holding elections.

While the election notice will go to the entire membership, please sign in to the chapter before or after voting. To do so, log into the ASA page, and within your profile section you can pick the chapters you want to join.
