[ASA] ACAMAR 11 workshop (Geraldton 24-26 March 2026): REGISTRATION OPEN

Dear ASA members,

Registration and abstract submission are now open for the ACAMAR 11 workshop to be held in the beautiful coastal town of Geraldton, WA from March 24 to 26, 2026.

This workshop brings together members of the Australian and Chinese astronomy communities to discuss all areas of astronomy collaboration. Workshop themes include:


  *   Facilities (including SKA, ASKAP, MWA, FAST, VLBI and Antarctic astronomy)
  *   Data Sciences and Machine learning (including Virtual Observatories)
  *   Galactic Astronomy
  *   Galaxies and Cosmology
  *   Compact Objects and Gravitational Waves (including Pulsars and FRBs)
  *   Time Domain astronomy (including Exoplanets & Optical Transients)

Important dates for your calendar are:


  *   December 5: abstract deadline (oral/poster)
  *   January 23: draft programme
  *   January 30: early registration deadline
  *   February 27: registration closes
  *   March 12: poster upload deadline
  *   March 24-26: ACAMAR 11 workshop

Note that the workshop venue capacity is limited, so you are advised to register early. Waitlisting may begin before the formal registration deadline.
