Dear ASA,
The ANU Research School of Astronomy and Astrophysics at Mount Stromlo welcomes applications for the Stromlo Fellowship and a new Stromlo Fellowship in Radio Astronomy (continuing).
Stromlo Fellow in Radio Astronomy:
This is a new continuing level-C position which will be research focussed for the initial 5 years. The Stromlo Fellow in Radio Astronomy will join the RSAA faculty.
Stromlo Fellow:
This is a 4-year fixed term independent prize fellowship at level B. The fellowship is open to researchers in all fields of astronomy and astrophysics; we welcome applications from theorists, observers, and instrumentalists.
Interested applicants can find further details and instructions for application at the following links Stromlo Fellow in Radio Astronomy<https://url.au.m.mimecastprotect.com/s/lDnBCjZ1N7iGkD7pzUWfRCmGdRJ?domain=aas.org> and Stromlo Fellow<https://url.au.m.mimecastprotect.com/s/y1IFCk81N9tXZAMmDsVhRCGv-vg?domain=aas.org>, or feel free to contact me with any questions.
RSAA has world-class staff and students, and an exceptional track record in research and teaching. The vibrant and diverse astronomical research community at RSAA has access to a broad array of facilities, including optical telescopes operated by ANU at Siding Spring Observatory (AAT 4m, ANU 2.3m), National Computational Infrastructure supercomputers as well as in-house compute clusters, and national radio telescopes (ATCA, ASKAP, MWA). ANU is a partner in the Giant Magellan Telescope and develops sophisticated astronomical and space hardware in the state-of-the-art facilities at our Advanced Technology and Instrumentation Centre. ANU values diversity and inclusion and is committed to providing equal employment opportunities to those of all backgrounds and identities. RSAA is the recipient of a Gold Pleiades Award recognising outstanding, sustained commitment to best practice in relation to the aims of equity, inclusion and diversity. We welcome applications from people of all backgrounds and identities and from individuals who may have had a non-linear career path, career gaps or career breaks.
