I hope this message finds you well. My name is Diego Ulloa-Solis, PhD student at the ANU Research School of Astronomy and Astrophysics. On behalf of the school and the seminar coordinators, I’d like to invite astronomy Honours, Master, and PhD students across Australia to attend the Mount Stromlo Student Seminar 2025, which will take place from October 27th to 29th at ANU main campus and Mount Stromlo Observatory.

Hello everyone,

We hope you're doing well! As in previous years, Mount Stromlo Observatory is excited to host the Mount Stromlo Student Seminar 2025.

For those who aren’t familiar with MSSS, it’s a three-day student seminar organised by the ANU Research School of Astronomy and Astrophysics. It’s a fantastic opportunity for Honours, Master’s, and PhD students to practice their presentation skills in a relaxed, supportive environment — as well as to learn from and connect with other astronomy students from across Australia.

This year, MSSS will take place from October 27th to 29th, with sessions held at The Australian National University main campus and Mount Stromlo Observatory.
The registration form is now open, so we encourage you to start planning your participation. Please note that places are limited, and registration will close on July 11th, 2025.

You’ll receive updates and further details via email, so please check it regularly. Later this year, the official MSSS 2025 webpage will also be updated with important information.
