[ASA] ANITA Elections 2025

Dear ANITA members,

The Australian National Institute for Theoretical Astrophysics (Chapter of the ASA) notifies that the regular term for one position on the ANITA steering committee, and the regular term for our student representative is shortly coming to an end.

Greg Poole and Sabrina Berger will be stepping down as steering committee members (see https://url.au.m.mimecastprotect.com/s/U8WFCzvkyVC4Kj4K4U4fZf9cBuT?domain=anita.edu.au for full membership).

We therefore invite interested members to self-nominate for the newly opened positions of steering committee member and student representative. Terms last two and one years respectively.

Please self-nominate by 13th of June 2025 by e-mailing our returning officer, Ryosuke Hirai <ryosuke.hirai at monash.edu>.

Elections will be held shortly after that date if there is more than one applicant. I would like to particularly encourage ECRs and students who are active in the Australian theoretical astrophysics community to self-nominate.
