The ASA is strongly committed to improving the representation and status of women in astronomy. The goal of the Society is that female candidates should comprise at least 40% of the nominations for each prize and we acknowledge the support of institutions for helping to achieve this. The fraction of female candidates nominated for each prize across the previous five years is included below.
A reminder that tax-deductible donations to support the Prizes can be made to the Foundation for the Advancement of Astronomy (FAA) and we greatly appreciate your generosity: https://url.au.m.mimecastprotect.com/s/5vu-CROND2ugPExR7s9fgI1rOKu?domain=asa.wildapricot.org
