Initial Announcement - Pre-registration is now open!

Rationale: This workshop is dedicated to exploring the latest developments in resolved galaxy properties and evolution. With next-generation observatories like JWST, ELT, and the SKA, upgrades to ALMA and VLA, we are entering a new era in understanding these critical aspects of galaxies throughout cosmic history. We aim to bring together experts working on the observational, theoretical, and numerical approaches to address the following key questions:
1. How do galaxies assemble their baryonic components?
2. What mechanisms regulate star formation and feedback in nearby galaxies?
3. How does small-scale physics connect to global galaxy properties?
Key dates:
October 2024: Pre-registration is now open
December 17th 2024: Registration & abstract submission open
February 14th 2025: Deadline for abstract submission
July 7th to 11th 2025: Conference
Location: The conference will be held at the ESO (European Organisation for Astronomical Research in the Southern Hemisphere) Headquarters in Garching, a scientific hub just north of Munich, Germany. Garching is home to several leading research institutes and offers a vibrant academic atmosphere. Easily accessible from Munich city center and airport, Garching provides a unique setting for scientific exchange and collaboration.
We encourage you to share this announcement with colleagues who may be interested in attending, and we look forward to welcoming you at ESO Garching in July 2025!
