Dear colleagues,
Herzberg Astronomy & Astrophysics (HAA) and the National Research Council of Canada (NRC) is happy to announce they are accepting applications for three postdoctoral fellowships (Covington, Plaskett & Herzberg Instrument Science). It would be greatly appreciated if you could bring the positions to the attention to potential applications. These prestigious fellowships would be of interest to recent PhD graduates in observational and theoretical astrophysicists as well as instrumentation science.
Each of the prestigious fellowships offer a three-year position with HAA. The Covington Fellow<https://url.au.m.mimecastprotect.com/s/axV3Cp81lrtx9B0ZltPf1FGrZVc?domain=nrc.canada.ca> is hosted at the Dominion Radio Astrophysical Observatory (DRAO) near Penticton, British Columbia and the Plaskett Fellow<https://url.au.m.mimecastprotect.com/s/-pQQCq71mwf71oyv4CXh9FE7UKR?domain=nrc.canada.ca> will be based at the Dominion Astrophysical Observatory (DAO) in Victoria, British Columbia; the Instrument Science Fellowship<https://url.au.m.mimecastprotect.com/s/cMZpCr81nytDrGRONs4ixF4aaQ_?domain=nrc.canada.ca> can be taken to either DRAO or DAO.
For more information, the complete AAS job ad is posted below -- the ad includes job descriptions for each position.
