[ASA] Physics Foundation HDR Scholarships @ Sydney

Dear colleagues,

thanks to the generous support of the Physics Foundation, we are currently advertising 4 PhD stipend scholarships (including tuition fees for international students) at the University of Sydney.

The scholarships are available for domestic or international students, in the following areas:

  *   1 scholarship available in any relevant area of physics or astronomy;
  *   1 scholarship available in machine learning, information theory, and statistical physics – working with Dr Wave Ngampruetikorn;
  *   1 scholarship available in experimental particle physics for detector R&D using cryogenic noble gases and quantum sensors – working with Dr Laura Manenti;
  *   1 scholarship available in nanophotonics for quantum control, interstellar travel and passive cooling – working with A/Prof Boris Kuhlmey.

The deadline is 10th November.
