[ASA] Bottom of the Iceberg Workshop 23rd-24th October at UNSW

Dear All,

ASTRO3D Distinguished Visitors Rhea-Silvia Remus and Mireia Montes are visiting UNSW Sydney October 21-25. Given their joint expertise in all things low surface brightness astronomy we are organising a workshop "The Bottom of the Iceberg” while they’re visiting. The focus of the workshop will be all things low surface brightness - the bottom of the iceberg as it were - so intracluster light, tidal features and ultra-diffuse galaxies.

This form allows for talk submission too and we can make space for a few more talks.

We won’t charge a registration fee but we don’t have funding for the workshop so while we may possibly be able to offer catering (to be confirmed after registration closes) we won’t be able to support any travel.
