[ASA] Petition to "Improve Higher Degree by Research student conditions"

Hello,

The ECR Steering Committee would like to encourage all ASA members to consider signing the following petition: https://www.aph.gov.au/e-petitions/petition/EN6358

The main focus is to request Australian government to raise the Australian Research Training Program stipend for PhD students to the national minimum wage without reducing the number of available RTP scholarships. The petition closes 24 July 2024 09:59 PM (AEST) (within 2 days). Note to sign the petition you need to confirm your signature via a follow-up email that will be sent to your used address.
