[ASA] Applications now open for CSIRO Space and Astronomy Undergraduate Vacation Studentships

Applications are now open for the 2024-2025 Undergraduate Vacation Studentships with CSIRO, Space and Astronomy.

Location:  Sydney, Perth and Canberra (refer to the project list for specific details)
Stipend:  $1,915.90 per fortnight Travel assistance is provided for interstate students.
Duration: Placements are full time for 10 weeks between November 2024 and February 2025.

To be considered you will need

  *   To be enrolled in an undergraduate degree at an Australian university.

  *   Have completed 3 years (full-time equivalent) of an undergraduate course, however exceptional second-year students may be considered.
  *   A strong academic record (credit average or higher).
  *   An interest in pursuing a research career in science or technology, or a career in a related discipline.
  *   The ability to undertake a full-time placement for 8-12 weeks over the university summer vacation period.

Eligibility
Applications for these studentships are open to: Australian and New Zealand Citizens; Australian Permanent Residents; and International students who have full work rights for the duration of the placement (do not require visa sponsorship).
