Astronomy Supercomputer Time Allocation Committee

CALL FOR PROPOSALS: ASTAC 2024-B

** The current call for proposals closes at 8pm Friday 7th June 2024 **





The Astronomy Supercomputer Time Allocation call for proposals for Q3-Q4 2024 is now open. The deadline for this call is 8pm Friday 7th June 2024.



Within this call we have 14 million service units available to allocate to the astronomy community on national supercomputing facilities (including allocations for CPU-only and GPU-specific applications). Note the increased amount of time available on Gadi for this round.



The following resources are available:

  1.  NCI Astronomy Program: up to 12,000 kSUs on the Gadi system;
  2.
Swinburne: up to 2,000 kSUs on OzSTAR and Ngarrgu Tindebeek.
