"ULTIMATE at Subaru Telescope is an innovative next-generation, wide-field adaptive optics instrument optimised in the near-infrared. ULTIMATE-Subaru will provide a wide-field, sensitive, and high angular resolution to observe the universe, delivering a sharp view of the universe. ULTIMATE promises to unveil new insights into early galaxies, the Milky Way, and large-scale structures. ULTIMATE-Subaru approaching its first light soon, it is a prime opportunity to connect the Australian and Japanese astronomy communities.

Subaru Telescope team is visiting Sydney to engage with the Australian community on Subaru and ULTIMATE instrument science. A preliminary program of the workshop is available here<https://url.au.m.mimecastprotect.com/s/Y2XOC91WPRTRR0lKxc3yWWk?domain=sites.google.com>.

We cordially invite community members to join us in Sydney on 9-10 May 2024 to discuss ULTIMATE and broader Subaru Telescope Science. Join us for an enriching opportunity to collaborate and engage in stimulating science discussions. The workshop is supported by the Australia-Japan Foundation (AJF) and Macquarie University AstroSpaceTech Research Centre.

There will be another exciting workshop coming under the SUPER-IRNET banner (a JSPS Core-to-Core Program aimed at advancing wide-field infrared astronomy) on July 23-26, 2024<https://url.au.m.mimecastprotect.com/s/jApeC0YKPviJJx7W4UWlyze?domain=ultimate.naoj.org>, in Beppu, Oita, Japan.
