ICRAR/UWA Research Training Program Domestic and UWA International Graduates-only round PhD Scholarship Applications

The University of Western Australia (UWA)<https://protect-au.mimecast.com/s/CY6qCoV1kpfDV1X72hEqK-A?domain=uwa.edu.au> node of the International Centre for Radio Astronomy Research (ICRAR)<https://protect-au.mimecast.com/s/CY6qCoV1kpfDV1X72hEqK-A?domain=uwa.edu.au/> invites applications for its PhD program from domestic students (Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident or a New Zealand citizen) and international UWA graduates to start in 2024. This scholarship can be undertaken in any of the research areas at ICRAR-UWA, with a full list of currently-available postgraduate projects found here<https://protect-au.mimecast.com/s/mY4qCp81lrt90Jzj4i3cqta?domain=icrar.org>.

ICRAR is one of Australia’s top astronomical research institutes. Established in 2009 as a high profile equal joint venture between Curtin University and UWA, ICRAR is a leading organization in the international Square Kilometre Array project.

ICRAR/UWA hosts a vibrant and friendly research environment where PhD students carry out cutting-edge projects in observational and theoretical astrophysics, often including work in "Big Data" methodologies and technologies. Applicants are requested to apply via UWA's iAthena system<https://protect-au.mimecast.com/s/yCQ9Cvl1rKiEnPWDwtru9im?domain=iathena.grs.uwa.edu.au>, and must attach a 1-page cover letter, a CV, academic transcripts, a copy of their masters or bachelor thesis and details of two referees, by Tuesday 31 October 2023.
