Mt Stromlo Observatory and the National Centre for the Public Awareness of Science are pleased to offer a Masters of Science Communication, focused on astronomy and space science.

Work on the front line of space communication with Masters level work-integrated learning opportunities at Mt Stromlo Observatory as part of an ANU Master of Science Communication degree. Placements provide graduates with real-world skills, knowledge, networks and career pathways with one of Australia's premier astronomical institutions, alongside integrated teaching to give graduates the theory behind the practice. Working with Mt Stromlo Observatory’s team, students evaluate and run programs, develop new initiatives, conduct audience research, engage with diverse audiences, communicate research and much more!   *   Scholarships! ANU have a limited number of Commonwealth Supported Places (fee reduction scholarships) available. If applicants have a high GPA, chances of success are excellent.
  *   Credit for prior learning! Honours or other post grad qualifications from the past seven years may be eligible for credit (e.g. science honours reduces the two-year masters to one year).
