[ASA] ASM 2024

Dear colleagues
    This email is to clarify some concerns that arose during the AGM. Maybe
I was not clear, for which I apologise. But the situation at present is:


   - The 2024 ASM will be delivered in an "online-first" mode
   - The ASA has not decided to alternate online meetings with face-to-face
   meetings (this has been discussed but no decision has been made)
   - No decision has been made concerning the format of the 2024 (or later)
   HWSA


The Council believes that we need to see what an online-first meeting looks
like before making any decisions about the format of future meetings. Any
decisions about alternating meetings would be made after consulting the
membership.

I hope this clarifies things.
