The 9th Australian Exoplanet Workshop will take place September 27-28, 2023 at the University of Sydney. The workshop is planned to focus on exoplanet-oriented instrumentation and the latest exoplanet science produced by Australia's exoplanet community. The schedule will include panel discussions to review the state of the field in Australia and offer ideas for future directions. An optional third day (Sept. 29) will have reserved spaces for unstructured breakout sessions for fostering collaborations across institutions.

The workshop’s keynote talk will be given by Marshall Perrin (STScI), former JWST deputy telescope scientist and co-founder of STScI’s Russell B. Makidon Optics Laboratory. The workshop will be jointly hosted by the Sydney Institute for Astronomy (SIfA) and Institute of Photonics and Optical Science (IPOS), with sponsorship by the Dick Hunstead Fund for Astrophysics.

Pre-registration is requested to help with workshop planning but is not required for participation. The form will close on June 30 2023.
