[ASA] Science meets Parliament 2023

Dear Colleagues
  Science and Technology Australia (STA) are again organising Science meets
Parliament in 2023. This year the event will be in two parts:

1) a three-day online program (March 7, 8 and 9) of bespoke training to
equip scientists with advanced skills in policy engagement, communications,
advocacy and influence; and
2) a ‘Science Meets Parliament 2023: On The Hill” one-day in-person event
in Canberra (March 22) featuring a National Press Club address, National
Gala Dinner in the Great Hall of Parliament, scientist meetings with MPs
and Senators, an exhibition and advanced training.


The ASA is a member of STA and we are looking for 2 ASA delegates, with
costs covered by the ASA.

We are thus asking for volunteers to attend this meeting. If you are
interested, please send me a brief summary of why you are the best person
to represent the ASA and your colleagues to parliamentarians.

Please send me your nominations before Feb 15.
