[ASA] The recent passing of two notable Australian astronomers

Dear Colleagues
   It is with sadness that I inform you of the passing of two significant
figures in Australian Astronomy.

*Dr Ragbir Bhathal*
Although never an ASA member, Dr Bhathal published several astronomy books (
https://protect-au.mimecast.com/s/vBXICVARKgCl6V5vpIGQw8w?domain=en.wikipedia.org ), notably on aboriginal
astronomy and ‘Australian Astronomers’. The Royal Society Of NSW have an

*Rev. Robert Evans*
Robert (Bob) Evans was the 1986 Page medallist and a retired Fellow of the
ASA. He won many awards, including an OAM. Sky and Telescope have an
