Mt Stromlo Observatory and the National Centre for the Public Awareness of Science are happy to offer a Masters of Science Communication, focused on astronomy and space science.

Combine Masters studies with inspiring work placements an Mt Stromlo Observatory as part of an ANU Master of Science Communication degree. Placements provide graduates with real-world skills, knowledge, networks and career pathways alongside integrated teaching to give graduates the theory behind the practice. Working alongside placement hosts’ staff, students deliver and evaluate programs, develop new initiatives, engage diverse audiences, communicate research and much more!

A limited number of merit-based Commonwealth Supported Places (fee reduction scholarships) are available. Applicants may also be eligible for credit for prior postgraduate/honours degrees.

Placements focused on science at Questacon and environment at the Woodlands Wildlife Sanctuary also are available.
