[ASA] Australian/eROSITA_DE Joint Collaboration Workshop 2022 - Reminder

Dear colleagues,

The deadline for submitting your expression of interest in presenting at the Australian/eROSITA_DE Joint Collaboration Workshop has been extended to the end of this week, Friday 4th February.



The Australian/eROSITA_DE Joint Collaboration Workshop will be hosted virtually on 21-23rd February 2022. Details can be found below and at the workshop website<https://protect-au.mimecast.com/s/YXeSC2xMQzip9AzAYHnJs6F?domain=astronomyaustralia.org.au>.



Workshop Details:

  *   The primary aim of this online workshop is to bring together members of the Australian and German eROSITA/eROSITA_DE  communities to discuss the progress of ongoing collaborative projects, as well as to foster ideas for new projects.
  *   In order to allow synchronous participation by both Australian and German parties, the workshop will be run between the hours of 6:30pm and 9pm AEDT (8:30am and 11am CET) from 21–23rd February.
  *   This is a free event, held within GatherTown and via Zoom, that will include short contributed talks, poster “sparkler” presentations and also offer an opportunity for discussions and networking. Access details will be provided to registered participants before the workshop.

Registration and Abstract submission

  *   There is no registration fee to attend the Workshop, however, please indicate your attendance via the following link to our registration page here<https://protect-au.mimecast.com/s/Hn3sC3QNPBipEVzVkHqRnhi?domain=eventbrite.com.au>. The registration deadline is 17 February 2022.
  *   Participants with existing Australia-eROSITA_DE collaboration projects are strongly encouraged to give a presentation on that work, while we also welcome presentations from participants with ideas for future Australia-eROSITA_DE collaborative projects.
  *   Participants may choose to pre-record their presentations to accommodate poor internet connections and/or scheduling issues. Presenters may also nominate an auxiliary presenter to (for example) provide answers to questions in the chat during the talk
  *   Please submit your expression of interest in presenting at the workshop by 4 February 2022 using this form<https://protect-au.mimecast.com/s/EDVaC4QOPEiBvGKGViBUzVr?domain=forms.gle>. Note that submissions after this date will only be possible for “poster” presentations within GatherTown.
