Wed Aug 4 10:39:32 AEST 2021

Dear colleagues,

We invite applications for a 3 yr (with a possible extension to 5 yrs) postdoctoral position working in Naomi McClure-Griffiths's ARC Laureate research group at the Australian National University. The position is open to anyone with research interests and expertise in magnetic fields or atomic hydrogen using the Australian SKA Pathfinder (ASKAP).
The successful candidate will be a member of the ASKAP survey teams GASKAP and/or POSSUM (depending on interests), and will have approximately 30% of their time available to work on research projects of their choice. Starting dates are flexible, but ideally the successful applicant will be available no later than early 2022. To that end, candidates currently based in Australia are strongly encouraged!
This is the first of several positions that will be advertised over the next few months. The deadline for this first position is 31 August. Please see the job ad posted at: https://protect-au.mimecast.com/s/6-xUCVARKgCx9RgmysGfuYu?domain=jobs.anu.edu.au.
Feel free to contact me with any questions about the position.
Regards, Naomi
