[ASA] ADACS Merit Allocation Scheme - A new opportunity and important changes to the EoI process

Astronomy Data and Computing Services (ADACS) is excited to announce an important change to the ADACS Merit Allocation Program (MAP) aimed at accelerating the process of securing initial resources for new initiatives with us.

From this date forward, expressions of interest (EoIs) for the ADACS MAP will be accepted on a continuous basis.  Furthermore, resources have been allocated to conduct code & project audits during the EoI phase to reduce risks inherent in projects that have seen limited previous ADACS engagement.  These resources are limited and will be allocated on a first-come-first-serve basis, so we strongly encourage researchers presently contemplating engaging the ADACS MAP to do so at the earliest possible convenience.

Announcements of the opening of new calls for the program will still be made well in advance of final deadlines, in time for meaningful EoI engagement to be organised, but the hope is that projects which seek earlier EoI engagement will naturally be in a better position to secure significant resources on shorter timescales.
