The ASA Council is seeking bids from institutions wishing to host the 2022 Annual Scientific Meeting of the ASA and the 2022 Harley Wood School for Astronomy (HWSA). Council is seeking bids that include face-to-face and virtual/online access to the meeting, to have greater flexibility for attendance of future ASA events.

In 2022, the ASM meeting dates are suggested to be Monday July 4 - Friday July 8, 2022. The HWSA is usually held in the days preceding the ASM.

These dates are chosen to align with school holidays in most states.
