[ASA] 2018 OzSKA meeting deferred

A "save the date" was announced last month for the OzSKA meeting, which

was planned for 18/19 Sept. However, as it has become apparent these dates

clash with other meetings, and as feedback indicates that the ASA provided

the community with good updates on progress with the SKA and its pathfinders

and precursors, it has been decided to defer the OzSKA meeting.


It is planned to to include an SKA update session as part of an ASKAP workshop

to be held at CASS, Marsfield on Oct 24/25 -- more details will be provided

about this in the near future. Consideration is also being given to holding a

meeting in advance of the 2019 SKA Science Meeting to be held at Jodrell

Bank from April 8-12, 2019 (https://protect-au.mimecast.com/s/9ifZCANZvPi2zJrzCGhtYG?domain=indico.skatelescope.org).
