Astronomy Australia Ltd (AAL) is currently advertising for a Program Manager
to be responsible for a number of research infrastructure projects, with a
particular focus on identifying and supporting increased collaboration with
industry partners.

 

Key responsibilities include:

*	Industry collaboration: Astronomy research infrastructure projects
offer many possibilities for collaboration between universities/research
organisations and industry to commercialise IP and engage industry vendors.
The Program Manager will significantly increase AAL's capacity to facilitate
industry collaborations.
*	Project oversight: The Program Manager will oversee a number of
research infrastructure projects, including contract negotiation and
management. The role involves regular reporting on project progress to AAL's
advisory committees and Board.
*	Stakeholder communications: The role involves extensive engagement
with astronomers, industry, and the Australian Government.
