Dear ASA Members,

As Chair of the ANZSCC Science Advisory Committee, I am pleased to announce a new opportunity for those who would like to directly contribute to the work at the SKA Office.
The Australian SKA Office<http://www.ska.gov.au/> is seeking expressions of interest for the initial round of the Australian SKA Fellowships Programme. The Programme will facilitate Australia-based scientists, engineers and people with other relevant expertise to spend a period of 2 – 4 months at the SKA Headquarters in the UK, contributing to the delivery of Phase 1 SKA design work.
Applicants are asked to suggest short projects, and/or nominate more general areas of work they could contribute. Fellowships are expected to be taken up between July/August 2016 through to the end of 2017.

Further information about the programme and instructions on how to respond to this call can be found here.<http://www.ska.gov.au/science/Pages/Australian-SKA-Fellowships-Program.aspx>

Please note that the initial call for expressions of interest closes on 8 July 2016. If you have any specific questions please contact Mr Jerry Skinner, Manager SKA communications @ jerry.skinner at industry.gov.au<mailto:jerry.skinner at industry.gov.au>
