ASA SOCIAL PROGRAM - WELCOME DRINKS AND CONFERENCE DINNER

We wanted to remind you about the amazing social program that is available for delegates during the 50th Anniversary Astronomical Society of Australia's Annual Conference being held 3-8 July 2016.  We encourage all ASA members to attend, even if you are not attending the conference.

WELCOME DRINKS - Sunday 3rd July 2016
Welcome drinks will be held on Sunday 3rd July from 6pm. This event is being held at the Sydney Observatory<http://www.sydneyobservatory.com.au/> and will allow delegates to watch the kaleidoscope of colour that is Sydney Harbour at twilight.

If you are travelling with your partner/spouse they are most welcome to join the Welcome Drinks event. The theme for the evening is "Astronomy", we encourage you to dress accordingly.

CONFERENCE DINNER - Thursday 7th July 2016
The Conference dinner will be held on the Thursday 7th July 2016 from 7:00pm at Sydney's Doltone House, Pyrmont.  A spectacular waterfront venue on the foreshore of Sydney Harbour, with views of the iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge and the magical city skyline.  This is a wonderful opportunity to experience Sydney at night and party the night away with our fun 60's theme.

If you are attending the conference the dinner is included however standalone tickers can be purchased.
