    Supplementary Call for Proposals for Australian access to the
      Gemini telescopes in Semester 2016B
    

    The deadline for proposals for Australian community access to the
    Gemini North and South telescopes for Semester 2016B (1 Aug 2016 -
    31 Jan 2017) has been extended to

5:00pm AEST, Friday 8 April 2016.


    This supplementary call for proposals is intended to provide a more
    competitive pool of proposals for the Gemini North telescope in
    particular. However proposals for time on Gemini South will also be
    accepted. Applicants who have already submitted an ATAC Gemini
    proposal for Semester 2016B are free to resubmit their proposal with
    an increased time request, which must be fully justified in the
    proposal. Instructions on how to submit an ATAC Gemini application
    can be found on the "Submitting" tab of

    A reminder also that the deadline for Magellan proposals in Semester
    2016B is 5pm AEST Thursday 7 April - see
