      Supplementary Call for Proposals for Australian community access
      to the Keck telescopes in Semester 2016B


The deadline for proposals for Australian community access to the Keck 
telescopes in Hawaii for Semester 2016B (1 Aug 2016 - 31 Jan 2017) has 
been extended to

*5:00pm AEST, Wednesday 30 March 2016.*

This supplementary call for proposals is intended to provide a more 
competitive pool of proposals for the Keck 2 telescope in particular. 
However proposals for time on Keck 1 will also be accepted. Applicants 
who have already submitted a KTAC proposal for Semester 2016B are free 
to resubmit their proposal with an increased time request, which must be 
fully justified in the proposal. Note also the availability of an L-band 
Vortex coronagraph for NIRC2

announced only recently. Instructions on how to submit a KTAC 
application can be found on the "Submitting" tab of

Separate calls for Gemini <https://www.aao.gov.au/itso/gemini/apply> and 
Magellan <https://www.aao.gov.au/itso/magellan/apply> proposals in 
Semester 2016B (with proposal deadlines of 31 March and 7 April, 
respectively) are also open at this time.
