Dear Members,

  * School of Physics, University of Melbourne
  * School of Physics, University of Sydney

Full details of the awards are available here: http://asawomeninastronomy.org/the-pleiades-awards/. Awardees are encouraged to celebrate their success and share their ideas throughout the STEM community.

I would like to thank the current and past steering committee of the Chapter for Women in Astronomy, the Pleiades Champions and the ASA Council for their support and all the members of the ASA that worked so hard at an institutional level to start this movement of positive change.

I would also like to acknowledge the excellent work being done by several organisations that were not successful in this round. This hard work must continue from all of us in order for us to build a better, stronger and more productive astronomical community.

Regards,

Lisa Harvey-Smith
Chair, ASA Chapter for Women in Astronomy
on behalf of the Steering Committee
