Australia China Astronomy Collaboration Award

 

Applications are now open for the  Australia China Astronomy Collaboration
Award. 

***The closing date for applications is 27th August 2013***

 

The initiative will enable Australian astronomy researchers to travel to
China between November 2013 and May 2014 in order to:

*	Increase and strengthen Australia's relationship with China in the
following areas of astronomical science or technical collaboration: Square
Kilometre Array, Extremely Large Telescopes, Antarctic astronomy telescopes.
*	Bring together Australian and Chinese researchers to facilitate
future long-term collaborative relationships in astronomical science and
technology.
*	Foster educational, scientific and cultural exchange between
Australia and China in astronomical sciences.

 

This initiative is supported by the Commonwealth of Australia through the
Department of Industry, Innovation, Climate Change, Science, Research and
Tertiary Education and administered by Astronomy Australia Ltd.
