[ASA] Please vote - Ballot for ASA Council members

As a result of the nomination process for the 2012-13 ASA Council, extra nominations have been received and there will be a ballot for the positions of all Ordinary Councillors.  All Fellows, Honorary Fellows, Full Members, and Corporate Members are entitled to vote (sorry, not Students or Associate members)

The new nominees are:
	Ass Prof Scott Croom (University of Sydney)
	Dr Mike Ireland (Macquarie/AAO)
	Prof David McClelland (RSPE ANU)
	Dr Kevin Pimbblet (Monash)
	Dr Cathryn Trott (Curtin/ICRAR)
The current Councillors up for re-election are:
	Dr Darren Croton (Swinburne)
	Dr Amanda Karakas (RSAA)
	Dr Gavin Rowell (Adelaide)
	Ass Prof Andrew Walsh (James Cook)

ALL Ordinary Councillors are up for election, not just the potential new members.  5 of the 9 nominees will be elected.  All the officers of the Council are unchallenged.

Instructions on how to vote are included in the ballot paper (attached or available from the web page). This ballot paper must be used for voting.  Please follow the instructions carefully to ensure your vote is valid.

We encourage all eligible members to take the opportunity to vote.
