The International Telescopes Support Office (ITSO; formerly AusGO, the Australian Gemini Office) at the Australian Astronomical Observatory would like to announce the official launch of the new ITSO website at:
https://www.aao.gov.au/itso
Please note that the previous AusGO website will now redirect to the new ITSO site.
ITSO coordinates Australian usage of large offshore facilities including the Gemini 8.1 metre telescopes in Hawaii and Chile; the W. M. Keck Observatory twin 10 metre telescopes in Hawaii; the Magellan twin 6.5 metre telescopes in Chile; and the Blanco 4 metre telescope in Chile. Our new site offers advice to Australian astronomers on what's available at each of these four facilities, including data archives, and how to apply for time. Subscribe to our RSS feed (https://www.aao.gov.au/itsonews.xml) to receive regular updates on our new website 'News' area. ITSO welcomes feedback from the community on any additional information or services they would like to see included on this web site.
ITSO recently completed the 2015 Australian Gemini Cosmic Poll (https://www.aao.gov.au/news-media/news/cosmic-poll-2015) and hosts weekly Wednesday Twitter sessions from @AAOastro with the hashtag #ITSOaao. Feel free to follow along on our new web site's "Outreach" section.
