Australian Postgraduate Award (Industry) in Sound Practice: Supporting
Sustainable Careers in Orchestral Musicians through Occupational Health
and Safely Initiatives

Two scholarships are being offered for a research project leading to a
PhD in Medical Science; the project looks at the psychological and
physical health of professional musicians and aims to develop OH&S
policy; suitable for applicants with a background in medicine,
physiotherapy, psychology, or public health; applicants must have a
First Class Honours degree or equivalent; local and international
students can apply however the scholarship does not cover tuition fees
payable by international students; $26,669pa; up to three years.

Postgraduate Scholarship in Behavioural Neuroscience

A full-time postgraduate scholarship is available for a suitably
qualified candidate with a good honours degree (or equivalent) in
science or engineering to undertake research studies leading to a PhD;
the project is to investigate the role of basal ganglia in
decision-making; applicants must be Australian citizens, Australian
permanent residents or New Zealand citizens; $26,140pa ; up to three
years.

Postgraduate Scholarship in Stuttering Treatment

A full-time postgraduate scholarship is available for a suitably
qualified candidate with an honours degree in speech-language pathology
leading to a PhD; the project involves the treatment efficacy of the
Lidcombe Program for English-Mandarin Bilingual Children; local and
international students can apply however the scholarship does not cover
tuition fees payable by international students; $25,000pa; up to three
years.
